Paul J. Kennedy is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and has practiced full-time in New Mexico since 1976.  He has a full-time civil and criminal litigation practice with a focus on civil rights, wrongful death, white-collar criminal defense, appellate litigation, and other matters.  Mr. Kennedy has served twice as a Justice on the New Mexico Supreme Court, appointed first by Governor Gary Johnson in 2002 and then by Governor Susana Martinez in 2012.

Mr. Kennedy was a Fulbright Scholarship recipient.  He served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1973.  His facility in the Spanish language has enabled him to be of particular service to the Spanish-speaking community over the years.
